R for Romance
A highly misinterpreted and misconstrued word, this one! Romance does not mean sex. Romance is him whispering in your ear that he has an appetite for something else. Romance is not buying a gold ring and taking you out to an expensive lunch. Romance is giving a hug from behind when you are in the kitchen sweating it out. Romance is not the passionate dance but the soft kiss on moonlit night. Romance is not when he professes undying love for you. Romance is when you know he loves you by his simple actions. Romance is the soft peck on the forehead; it is the understanding when things don't go right; the simple squeezing of your hands when things aren't looking up; that simple nod and a smile; Romance is not buying that box of godiva chocolates but the simple gesture of making you smile when you cry.
Romance is a prelude to love and is an extension of love. Romance is you.
Romance is a prelude to love and is an extension of love. Romance is you.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful post. I think life would be so much better if children are given a truer picture of love and happiness.
