Serene Sunday - A time to be!
*This post is part of The Chennai Bloggers Club's Serene Sunday series initiated to keep the spirit of blogging alive and challenging.*
Weekdays are usually rushed and I'd hate it when the alarm goes off. On a Sunday though, it's completely different. Despite the fact that I'd have planned to sleep in, I always find myself waking up at the crack of dawn.
There's hardly any traffic. It's a quiet morning.
With a cup of strong filter kaapi, I sit in the balcony. Birds chirp away and I watch the sun cast its rays across the buildings and filter through the trees. The MS amma rendition of Venkatesa Suprabadham transcends the distance from the temple yonder.
I wouldn't trade this time for anything in the world - a time to absorb all the positive energy the universe has to offer, a time to be and to know that there's a dawn as beautiful as this at the end of every night!
To be continued by a not-so-maniac-Monday! ;-)
